Songs of Life

Adios amigos, says the sun
By chirping we reply, and home we run.
Yellow, orange, finally turning dark,
Shades of sky, leaving a mark
That its time to head towards our bark.
Collecting grains, wood, sticks and hay,
Too much of work for the day.
Flapping our wings, landing in our nest,
Its time to take some rest
A ray of light, enlighten our hopes,
Beginning a new day,
And setting higher goals,
Flapping more wings, flying still higher,
Building the nest more stronger
The sunlit light making it gleam,
Our beautiful little castle of our dream.

P.S. We, the human's life is no different then these soulful birds. We work day and night for ourselves and             more so for our family to build our castle of dreams. Be it a little ant or any animal or human, each life           on earth has more or less same phases and purpose. Nature treats everyone equal and so should we             humans :)

Sapne

Yu achanak se milli khushi
Dil ko kuch iss tarah lubha gayi
Ki har jagah bas wahi chehra
Dil aur dimag me bas usiki awaz gunj rahi thi
Apne halato par yakeen pana
Bada mushkil sa lag raha tha
Mann kar raha tha jaise iss waqt ko thaam lu
Iss pal ka jarra jarra apne andar sama lu
Par tab achanak meri aakhein khuli
Aur mera haseen sapna tukdo me bikhar gaya
Iss ehsaas se bechaini si hone lagi
Fir se unn lamho me kho jaane ki talab si lagne lagi
Aakhir uske sath rehne ki aadat jo lagne lagi
Wo ek hi jariya tha uske pas rehne ka
Apne hatheliyo pe uska naam likh gayi
Fir hamesha ke liye unn sapno me kho gayi.....

Kuch Iss Tarah...

Yu is tarah kabhi mehsus hua na tha

Yu is tarah kabhi aitbar hua na tha

Kuch iss tarah the humare zindagi me

Jaise suraj ki kirane garmahat deke

Rk phool si kali ko

Os se lipte andhere me sarhakar

Kahin gupt hawao me behne diya...

Yu iss tarah chot lagi na thi kabhi dil ko

Yu iss tarah dil kabhi dukha na tha

Kuch iss tarah roya hai tabse

Kuch use tarah sehm sa gaya

Ki fir kabhi iss dil me pyar karne ka hausla na tha....

Ki fir kabhi iss dil me pyar karne ka hausla na tha...

ETERNAL LOVE

Holding by the curves, embracing her lips

Ecstasy clearly visible on her face

As they come so close that they could feel the other’s breath

In his euphoria, he had became convinced he could win her heart

Since trust was the key to their passionate LOVE

PHILOPHOBIA

Love not me
I fear for those
Who trust on me
For I might not fulfill their hopes
Or shatter their dreams
Knowingly or unknowingly
So let me gather the courage
To face my self
For that may enlighten my soul
And you shall see
The better in me
As that might glow
A ray of hope
Which will brighten up
Not only my inner self
But also the life of those
Who trust on me
For i might never have to say again that
Love not me
I fear for those
Who trust on me

LETTER TO GOD

Drums and beats audible all around
Orchestra matching their chords to the rhythm, surround
Its festival of music and dance
A celebration of Good over Evil

Women dressed in their colorful attire
Seeming very charming and beautiful
A glimpse of Supreme power
Like a form of Goddess Durga

Prayers are chanted
Songs are sung
Diyas are lit up
Havans are performed
To burn away the evil
To spread around divinity
For peace to stay

But are these acts really helping to spread peace
Is divinity really showing its presence in the surrounding

The smoke is settled in the air
The burned off flames have blurred the vision
Not only choking up the air to breathe in
But also the generosity of the self seeking humans

Oh Goddess Durga
Please help saving the planet
From the disastrous future
To save from manifestation of globalization

Show your power to suppress the corrupt
To free away the illicit minds
And make some space for the clean air to breathe in
Pure souls for Divinity to stay
Bright minds ti lit up the planet in real sense

May you shower your blessings and show your presence
In the form of the most deserving beholder
To the real living Goddesses
Who is present among us
In the form of Goddess Durga, in our lives.

DOWN THE MEMORY LANE

An evening walk, with the breeze, sea shore and a wave of thoughts. Every evening she came here after a hectic day at work to explore different shades of the city. Gati, like her name, kept moving from one place to another, one city to another. She was new to Bangalore. She had recently joined her new office in a corporate firm. She was a happy-go-lucky person.

In no time, she had made many friends there. But one of them became very close to her,Rahul. They used to share each and everything about their life. And their friendship slowly grew to the extent that Gati used to visit Rahul almost every evening. They had a long session of talks with a cup of coffee. Slowly Rahul started liking her. He enjoyed each and every moment that they spent together.
“What if I go away from here forever?” She asked

“Don’t ever say that. What will I do without you” he asked, worried.

She gave a light smile and whiled away this thought.

Days went by and months were gone; their ship of friendship kept on sailing with no traces of coast visible anywhere.

One day, as usual Rahul was waiting for her with the coffee ready. It was past the time, she usually arrived every day. 9…10…11…12 midnight. But she didn’t came. Disappointed, Rahul went to sleep hoping to see her atleast next day. But the next day was no different. And the day after that and so on.
Surprised and worried, Rahul visited her place one day. He found out that she had left  a few days ago. Rahul met Gati’s  room mate, who said that Gati didn’t have parents or any family and that she had seen hard times in her life. She kept shifting from one city to another.
Rahul was in a state of shock and couldn’t believe that Gati had gone away forever. He received no messages, no calls, no information about her whatsoever. He was lost in his thoughts and the memory of the time they spent together. It was very difficult for him to believe. He never came to know the real reason behind this. There were so many questions that ran in his mind were left unanswered forever.

Two years later.

Rahul was happy in his married life. He had almost moved on and the past thoughts started to fade away. But he could not give his best to Sana, his wife, as much as she deserved. Somewhere at the back of his mind, the past still stayed. Due to which he could not give his 100% to the present relation.
One evening while having tea, Sana approached Rahul while he was lost in his thoughts sitting in the balcony. She leaned on Rahul’s shoulder and asked what was worrying  him. Rahul didn’t reply.  Silence longed for sometime between them.

“It’s been two years since….” breaking the silence, Rahul narrated everything about his past. He had never opened his heart out to Sana before.  He then shared each and every incident about Gati and him. While Sana just silently listened to him, staring at Rahul.

He felt so light at heart after a long while. Sana, instead of feeling jealous or getting angry, just understood his feelings and helped him to cope up with his past. That evening, they had a long session of talks and laughter which they never had before. Rahul felt good after a long time. After that day, they both shared each and everything. This not only improved their relation but also made him forget about the past and helped him move on. The past nomore haunted Rahul. Sana was there always to support and stand by his side.
Rahul and Sana lived happily the rest of their lives giving each other  infinite love and care. Rahul never thought about his past again.

Life moves on, and so do each and everyone of us, willingly or unwillingly……
